Pegasus incorporates platform fighting with shooting action, and is a lesser known gem from Gremlin Graphics. The later levels are gorgeous; a pity we wont get that far in this playguide.
Production Notes:
Ripped: 7th May 2015
Edited 22-26 Nov 2015
Pegasus is a game I've wanted to cover for quite some time, and I ripped this early this year when I was gathering together lost of raw material. With hindsight it would have been better to use the continue to get to the second world, as I cant remember if there is a boss fight or not, and it would have been nice to see a different landscape in action. I considered entering the passwords for the later worlds to include real footage at the end, but I'd already inserted all the images from the Lemon Database at the end, so I didnt end up making the extra rips.
No comparison zone either. This was mostly because I couldnt think of a 4th great game to compare this to, after Lionheart and Wolfchild, and also because I had a very busy week this week and ran out of time. The intro voice over was done in the deepest voice I could, and I added an effect to lower it by an octave, and added some reverb to make it sound more like a "God" voice. One small part of it sounded a bit like Christopher Lee on playback, but this wasnt intentional. I like doing funny voices, as can be found on my two 'Tribute to Lukozer ' vids, so it was a pleasure to do this.
Next week I'll try to cover the two games which were scheduled for combined release this week, so stay tuned.
