Following on from our tour of Lemmings, lets take a look at the direct sequels on the Amiga. If you enjoy my shows, please take a moment to back my kickstarter: http://tinyurl.com/offa8c5. A small donation will encourage others to donate.
Production Notes:
Ripped: 21 Aug 2013 (Lem 1 and 2) and 30 Oct 2014 (Lem 3)
Edited: 28 Nov - 3rd Dec 2015
Yet another video which took two years to produce and release. I originally had Lemmings 1, 2 and 3 edited as one long video, back in Nov 2014 for a possible X-Mas release. But the editing looked to be too much of a job, so I eventually split off Lemmings 1 and released that for Series 3, with the intention of delivering this a bit later. This video was originally supposed to appear last week, but Pegasus jumped the queue. With hindsight this video would have been better as the X-Mas special, and is a better choice than the review lined up for that spot.
The introduction voice was originally an impression of Clive Dunn from the old TV show Dads Army and Grandad, but after changing the pitch to the Lemmings voice, all you can hear is the cockney accent. At this point, I considered doing the voice again with a Yorkshire tone, and then I thought it would sound much better with a Scottish brogue - seeing as the DMA team came from Dundee. But playing the intro back was very funny, so I left it, just in case the new versions sounded bad. This was NOT, as some may suggest, anther impression of a certain other smoking fat barsterd from Southend.
Thanks to everyone who has pledged to my Kickstarter so far! Every donation encourages others to follow, and then we'll reach the minimum in no time.
Bugs:
I think forgot to include the Lemon Database score in my assessment of Lemmings 3, and this was an omission. This is currently 68%, so it would tie in with the 7/10 score anyway.
