In todays build we are celebrating 400 subscribers! What a long road, but super thankful to have made it to this point. So the build today is the Lego Creator Expert Parisian Restaurant set #10243, with 2,469 pieces, To celebrate I wanted to do another eBay used Lego set restoration video. So I went back to my investor, unloaded the plan, and here we are. We ended up ordering a super clean, nicely packaged Parisian Restaurant accidentally from South Korea. Unfortunately, It was not the one pictured, it was another and was not nicely packaged and badly sun damaged. The build also came in a super sketchy package, as seen on my TikTok. It was almost like each floor was smashed and bagged then shipped. I started the build off by bathing the set using Internet techniques to rid the yellowing. Unfortunately nothing worked so I settled on washing the bricks with soap and baking soda. Then soaking them in peroxide before putting them in the dishwasher with dish detergent. I ended up getting these bricks so clean that when I came to the make or break decision to paint them, it was super easy to just spray the parts back to white. Unfortunately, all of the chemicals used ended up leaving some residue that I just said “F” it and left on. I built the set immediately after drying, and was super surprised all the pieces where there. I really love the set, even tho the damaged Lego does bug me a bit. But I did try hard to blend the painted pieces in with the tan and even darker tanned white elements making this unique look. I do not feel that overall this building alone was enough for this video so if there is time before this video drops, there may be another build. As always please comment your thoughts down below.
