Lego Brand Store Lego Store Rebrickable Build! (How Will This Impulse Idea Actually Turn Out!)
In todays video we turn back to rebrickable.com for the source behind todays build. Recently I was at the Lego store and I found the Lego Store Exclusive Lego Brand Store set #40574, with 541 pieces. They only had one in stock so I grabbed it on impulse. When I got home I immediately went onto rebrickable.com, entered the set number and crossed my fingers. The original set has nothing of any use to make a city capable model, so I was really hoping to find something to make this set an actual Lego Store. Quickly I found Brickafides model and after some research I found his MOC take only 3 kits total. So with fingers crossed I ran back to the Lego store about 2 weeks later and found the other two sets in stock. Unboxing these kits we find a single instruction booklet, four building steps of bags, and two sticker sheets. The instructions, even though I threw them away, do have a use to create window displays and other items when building this MOC. The build went over really well, Brickafide did an excellent job at building this building very securely and it gave a lot of confidence in the set to me. Review the finished model The exterior is very plain, but that is ok if you are sandwiching this between other buildings. The front has some nice simple detail, the second level has a mostly glass wall which I found really nice. The lower level is highly detailed to resemble a Lego store with a PAB Wall and shelves for sets. I remixed the minifigures to kinda look different. Also the second floor was rather empty to I added some more stickers and bricks to kinda spruce up the space. Finally, I give a quick tour off how it looks incorporated into the city, and it looks very swell. This is a definite recommend if you are trying to get a Lego Store in your Lego City. It does cost $37 a set, and you need 3, and the instructions are $7. So for $118, you are getting a really nice building, without paying the killer cost for the one from Bricklink. We still need 3 more subscribers to hit that 400 subscriber goal, and once we hit it, I will immediately drop the celebration videos on a scheduled video date.
