Quick little notification about a recent Mega Man fan game called Quint's Revenge by ACESpark. Even though this is still a beta with things to be improved, I feel it's still worth taking a look at. Go for it at Sprite's INC:

According to the creator, the game started out as a Mega Man 2 remake for the GB, but received some significant changes concerning stage and boss design. This ultimately led to Quint becoming the protagonist with some new abilities.

While I have only taken a brief look at the game so far and can't say much about the overall quality, it's definitely interesting. Especially considering how the original MM2 for GB has aged a lot, this seems like a fresh take on it (despite not being a remake, but still). I don't know whether I'll do a run of the game or not (having beaten, like, the intro stage?), but there's a definite possibility. Anyway, the purpose here is just to inform you guys about this game's existence and show some early game footage. Again, bear in mind that this is a recently released beta with quite some bugs which need fixing. Don't let that hold you back, though, and try it out for yourselves!
