There are two areas to explore, we can choose either Maricopia Island or Voluca Island, I decided to start with Maricopia Island, and the first place we explore is Blushing Beach. The beach is home to a bunch of Pokémon, like Crabrawler, Exeggutor, Corsola, Pyukumuku, Bellossom, and many other kinds of Pokémon, and we might be able to check out Maricopia Reef for some Water-type Pokémon.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

I choose Maricopia Island first, you can do them in any order, but I went with that first, and before accessing the place, I get access to the Melody Player, which plays a song, and there are some Pokémon that react to it, like the Hoothoot on the sign at Florio Nature Park at night, and you can use it to get the Liepard to move so you can access the waterfall at Founja Jungle.
The first area we enter is Blushing Beach in the daytime, and the Pokémon encountered there are Crabrawler, Exeggutor, Bellossom, Pikachu, Wingull, Octillery, Vivillon, Finneon, Pyukumuku, Corsola, Machamp, and Stunfisk. It is the Marine Pattern Vivillon that can be found there, and there are some Pokémon that react to many things, the Bellossom react to the scan and the Melody Player, and playing a song is what makes Wingull do a loop-dee-loop, and there is a quest for that. You can use the scan to access a secret path that leads to the Private Beach, and you can find Machamp and Octillery there, but in Level 2 or higher, you can find Octillery throughout the place, even on the normal path, and I do remember you can find Alolan Raichu in that area, so Alolan Forms are in this game, even though they put the Kanto Form of Exeggutor and not the Alolan variant, because that would have been a good place to put the Alolan Exeggutor.
After unlocking Level 2 of Blushing Beach, you get access to Maricopia Reef, and there are more Pokémon you can encounter, like Finneon, Wingull, Sharpedo, Pelipper, Magikarp, Machamp, Mantine, Corsola, Mareanie, Wailord, and Pyukumuku. If you throw a Fluffruit at the Finneon, a Wingull can come swooping down and take Finneon with it. To get Magikarp to appear, throw a Fluffruit into the whirlpool, and later in the course, you can see Mareanie chasing Corsola, and when you submit the photo, Professor Mirror calls it a friendly game of tag, even though Mareanie prey on Corsola.
There is a secret path called the Blue Hole, if you scan and take that path, you can find a group of Pelipper, and throw a Fluffruit at the Pelipper, they can spit out Pyukumuku, and that is a 4 star photo if you can take a photo of Pyukumuku, and there is a quest called Return to the Sea, and what you have to do is get a photo of Pyukumuku being spat out of Pelipper's mouth.
That is two areas of Maricopia Island explored, and the next thing we have to do is go under the sea and find a glowing Crystabloom and see if we can find the Illumina Pokémon of Maricopia Island.
