I enter Sweltering Sands at night to test out the Illumina Orbs, and then get access to Fireflow Volcano, where we could encounter the Illumina Pokémon of Voluca Island. The volcano is home to a bunch of Pokémon, like Archeops, Tyrantrum, Charmander, Slugma, Graveler, Monferno, and many other Pokémon.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

I have unlocked the ability to use Illumina Orbs on Voluca Island, and it is time to go back to Sweltering Sands to test them out, I go into the nighttime variant of the level, and at Level 2 we can find some new Pokémon, you can find Silicobra, Flygon, and Tyranitar as the Pokémon that appear starting from Level 2, and it is good to see another Gen 8 Pokémon in this game. You can see Minior crashing down, and a Skorupi getting knocked back, and on Level 2, you can choose to take whichever path you want, the rightmost path takes you to the Onix area, and the left path takes you to the area with the sand craters which is the default area in the daytime variant, and you can awaken Flygon with an Illumina Orb, and you can get some good photos of Flygon when it starting flying around, and when you throw an Illumina Orb at the Crystabloom, it will remove the tornado to reveal Tyranitar, and you can lure a Lycanroc to it to fight to get a 4 star photo for Tyranitar.
After that, it is time to access Fireflow Volcano, and the Pokémon found there include Altaria, Luxray, Archeops, Tyrantrum, Graveler, Monferno, Aerodactyl, Slugma, and Charmander. This area has a bunch of Fire and Rock-type Pokémon, and the Aerodactyl are not easy to get a photo of as they can be seen flying at the start of the course, and Monferno usually jumps around different parts of the level, and it can be found taunting other Pokémon like Tyrantrum and Aerodactyl. At the end of the course, you can find Charmander and Slugma, and unlike the first Pokémon Snap where you can lure a bunch of Charmander with Pokémon Food, this is not the case in this game, but you can give Fluffruit to the Charmander, but they won't call others to the area.
When you unlock Level 2, you will take a different path, as a Tyrantrum is blocking the standard path by sleeping. In Level 2, you can encounter Shinx, Talonflame, Torkoal, and Typhlosion. There is a quest where you can get a Talonflame to grab a Fluffruit for a 4 star photo, and there is another quest where you can get an Archeops to eat Fluffruit.
The path you take has blue lava, and you can find Charmander and Torkoal in the cavern, and at the end of the course, you can get some good photos of the two Typhlosion at the end, or if you hit one of the Typhlosion with Fluffruit, you can get Aerodactyl to land, and feed it Fluffruit for some very good photos.
After completing the course, it is time to enter the Illumina Spot and find the Illumina Pokémon of Voluca Island, and this one has a twist to it. There are two Volcarona in this course, and the Illumina Spot is the largest volcano with two craters, so the craters could be the home to each of the Volcarona. This is a very tough course, because what you have to do is throw Fluffruit at the Volcarona to remove the fire surrounding them, and once the flames are gone, throw an Illumina Orb, and Volcarona will glow, allowing your photos to count, and you can get some great photos if you can remove the fire surrounding the Volcarona, and you get a photo of both of them, but there is a quest where you have to take a photo of both Volcarona interacting with one another and sending energy to each other.
When you revisit the course, you can find other Pokémon, like Talonflame and Archeops, and they will interact with the Volcarona at some parts of the course.
That is three Illumina Pokémon encountered, and we get to see a picture of Captain Vince, and the only time in the game it is ever shown. We did unlock a new area called Elsewhere Forest, which is on Belusylva Island, and that will be our next place in the next part.
