Version 4.6 is right around the corner, and we have already started receiving information about version 4.7, which is rumored to feature three new characters. According to various sources, it has been confirmed to feature Sigewinne, Clorinde, and Sethos. Both Sigewinne and Clorinde were introduced a long time ago, and they are finally going to be playable in the next update.
Yesterday, we received some new information about Clorinde and Sigewinne's playstyle, but it is subject to change since many sources couldn't verify its credibility. So take everything discussed in this video with a grain of salt.
Coming back to the topic, Clorinde is expected to be a 5-star Electro DPS character wielding a sword and focusing on Overload reactions, and she scales on attack stats. Yes, she is now expected to be an on-field main DPS character. Earlier, it was rumored that she would be an off-field support unit for Arlecchino, but things seem to have changed now.
According to info via White, Hoyoverse will not release any support character for Arlecchino or a character whose kit has something to do with the Bond of Life effect until version 5.1. However, it is still subject to change. But if it is true, then the info stating that Clorinde is an on-field DPS makes sense. And this might be true because if you look at Baizhu, he was released in version 3.6 and was considered a useless character, but ever since Furina's release in version 4.2, players' opinions have changed.
Clorinde, also known as the champion duelist, is the strongest duelist in Fontaine, so I don't see why Hoyoverse would want to make her an off-field support unit. Moving on to her skill, the latest information from Uncle K also reveals that she can summon guns using her skill, which is not a big surprise as she does carry a gun with her, and we also saw her using a gun in the overture teaser. So her skill or burst will 100% be related to guns.
Moving on to Sigewinne. Sigewinne is expected to be a 5-star Hydro character wielding a bow. She is also rumored to be a mix of a healer and a Main DPS. Sigewinne is the head nurse of the Fortress of Meopide’s infirmary, so her healing capability isn't a surprise. And according to info via white, Sigewinne's skills are related to blisters, and she can heal her teammates upon using it.
And lastly about Sethos. Sethos is expected to be a 4-star electro character wielding a bow. He is going to feature in the new Cyno story quest. We don’t have any other information on Sethos, but being a 4-star electro character, I'm assuming he would be a support unit for either Arlecchino, or clorinde.
