Two weeks ago, we received some information that Emilie will not be coming in version 4.8 anymore. Instead, she is being replaced by Sethos, an upcoming playable character from Sumeru, who will make his first appearance in Cyno's second story quest in version 4.6. Sethos is expected to be a Dendro character, and it is rumored that his weapon of choice will be a bow.
We are just two weeks away from Arlecchino's official release, and according to various sources, Clorinde and Siegewinne were expected to be released as playable characters in version 4.7. Emilie, a perfume designer from Fontaine was earlier expected to be playable in 4.8, but now it seems that she's not coming in 4.8 as she is missing from the latest banner data. The sources of this information were Mero and Blednaya, both of whom are very reliable.
And two days ago, ProjectENKA, who also happen to be a reliable source in the community shared the date for the version 4.7 drip marketing alongside some other information. According to them, Hoyoverse will reveal the upcoming characters on April 22. They also said that Clorinde and Siegewinne will be the two new characters arriving in the version 4.7 update. We all know that both of these characters played important roles in the Fontaine Arkon Quests, and many of us are waiting for these two to become playable.
But today, we have received some new information about the 4.7 characters. According to uncle K, Clorinde & Sethos will be released in version 4.7. If it turns out to be true, we can safely assume that clorinde is a 5 star character, and sethos is a 4 star character.
Clorinde was always expected to be a 5-star character, and she is confirmed to be an electro sword user. While Clorinde’s exact abilities are still unknown, some info shared by PTL mention that she will be an off field sub dps character. They said that she is going to perform well in electro-charged teams, and she works well with siegewinne & arlekino.
Siegewinne is a 5 star hydro character, and she too is expected to be a bow character. Siegewinne's rarity is questionable at the moment, and many players believe that she is a 4 star character since her design is very basic. But I don't think anyone has confirmed her as a 4-star. The idea of her being a 4-star was merely speculation. She was leaked to be a 5-star even before the release of Fontaine.
As for her abilities, she is rumored to be a healer, which seems plausible given her profession in the medical field. However if she's coming in 4.7, then more information will soon be revealed alongside her description in the 4.7 drip marketing post.
And as I said in one of my previous videos, If Sethos indeed turns out to be a 4-star character, then Siegewinne's chances of being a 5-star character will be increased significantly. So if Emilie is not coming in 4.8, and Sethos turns out to be a 4-star character, Hoyoverse might release Siegewinne as a 5-star character in version 4.8.
Now some information about the version 4.7 rerun banners. Fyurina is expected to get her second story quest in 4.7. She was released in version 4.2, and was expected to get her first rerun in version 4.6, but leaks suggest otherwise, so she's definitely coming in version 4.7.
