OFFICIAL!! 4.7 DRIP MARKETING CLORINDE, SIGEWINNE & SETHOS (THREE NEW CHARACTERS) - Genshin Impact
601Hoyoverse always teases upcoming characters via drip marketing before a new version goes live, and the 4.7 drip is finally here. Hoyoverse has officially revealed Clorinde, Sigewinne and Sethos as the upcoming characters who will be playable in version 4.7. Clorinde and Sigewinne were among the most anticipated characters, ever since their first appearance in the overture teaser.
According to info from various reliable sources, Clorinde and Sigewinne are both 5 star characters, whereas Sethos is a 4 star character.
Sethos hasn't appeared in the game so far, but he's going to make his first appearance in Cyno's second story quest, which will be available in the second half of version 4.6.
The drip marketing has revealed some important things about them, such as their title, vision and constellation.
Clorinde's title is Candlebearer, Shadowhunter, and Champion duelist, and her constellation is called Rapperia, and as I mentioned, she is going to be a 5-star character. Her vision and weapon have already been confirmed officially during the Fontaine's Archon quests, and she's going to be an Electro sword character.
Moving on Sigewinne. Sigewinne's title is Wondrous Dragonheir, and her constellation is called Nereides. It has been confirmed that she has a Hydro vision. As for her weapon, she is expected to be a bow user. Sethos is going to be a 4-star character, and he has an Electro vision. There's not much information about him, but he's also expected to be a bow user. And Sethos title is Wisdom's Measure, and his constellation is called Basileos Delta.
Moving on to their release dates. Clorinde is expected to get her banner in phase 1 of version 4.7, and sethos is also expected to appear on her banner as one of the three four star characters. That means Sigeiwinne is expected to appear in the second half banners of 4.7.
Latest information from PTL have suggested that Clorinde may be a DPS character that will shine in Overload and Electro-charged team compositions. Whereas, sigewinne is expected to be a healer, which seems plausible given her profession in the medical field. We have some information about their initial kits, and I have already made a video on it, so you can check it out if you want to know more about them. However, there's no information on Sethos, so we'll have to wait for at least 2 more days to know more about him.
The upcoming 4.6 update is also expected to add a new map. As per data shared by HxG, it is speculated that the rumored region will be located on the big hole between Sumeru, Liyue, and Fontaine. Additionally, there will be a new weekly boss, expected to be Arlecchino.
Version 4.7 is going to be a filler patch, so we will not get any new area or artifact set, but it's going to better than the current 4.5 patch. And the only reason for saying this is Dainsleif. Some information from a reliable source suggests that 4.7 update will release a new Archon Quest Interlude chapter featuring Dainsleif. It has been a long time since his appearance in the game, but it will be interesting since he does not appear in any quests or events outside the Traveler Archon Quests.
