Time to take another crack at FTL: Captain's Edition. This time I random into the Federation A and learn what I'm already starting to realize: Captain's Edition isn't supposed to be easy. In fact, with the RNG not quite being on my side, I'd say it's the opposite.

I wonder if learning the ins and outs of the addons will help me out a bit. Off camera I've already learned that piracy is a no-no without a requisition license. We'll try and apply those lessons here.
