In this episode of Factorio I build start pumping crude oil using the pump jack and store it in storage tanks. I set up an oil refinery to crack the oil into it's 3 parts (heavy oil, light oil and petroleum gas) and store that in buffer tanks. Those 3 liquids are inputs for the chemical factory which can make many things:

- sulfuric acid
- 3 types of solid fuel
- lubricant
- plastic bar
- sulfur
- batteries

Advanced circuits which seem to be used in many mid game things require plastic bars. And the late game processing unit (blue chips) require sulfuric acid to build as do batteries.

I also played around with the car in this episode. You can see how bad a driver I am! I'm probably worse in real life.

Some tips:

- Don't mix liquids (it ruins them). Keep liquid pipes separate
- Make sure you have a wide open area for oil processing. The machine are large!
- Oil speed in pipes slows down the longer the pipe
- Put buffer tanks between things so you can always be adding even if you're not yet using the outputs.
