Outhouse Patched for the Color Computer 3
4I ran across 20 games on the Color Computer Archive that are patched to run on the Color Computer 3! What does this mean to me? I think it means it will take games that were designed to use artifact colors (Which don't show up in CoCo 3 RGB mode) and find a way to make those colors visible.
Another reason they may have been patched, was because they didn't originally run on a CoCo 3 for some reason.
Well the first game I try, is a very cool game by Computer Shack, aka Michtron, called Outhouse, and it's a port of a game for the TRS-80 Model I/III and in this game, you must defend your Outhouse and your supply of toilet paper from enemies.
Well, as it turns out, the version that was patched for the CoCo 3 did at least display the proper colors, but other than that, would not work with the joystick, and didn't have any key to actually fire at the enemies with..
Patched.... Hmmm... :)
