Full gameplay longplay / playthrough / walkthrough / trueplay of the NTSC/J version of Panzer Dragoon on Sega Saturn. Done on hard which is the hardest difficult setting and included the secret cheat stage Episode 0 as an easter egg at the end of the video, along with all the intros, cutscenes, ending and credits. A special video for reaching 2000 subscribers as we look at one of the all time classic Sega Saturn games. Now seems a fitting time due to the forth coming HD remake, to enjoy this retro gaming classic.

Worth nothing Randomised Gaming has edited the attract mode to cut out the attract intro repeats. Also removed was the opening intro from the boot sequence, which felt out of place as it played again as soon as you started a new game. The first real system seller on the Saturn, the moment the games begins you are in for a very special experience.

Developed by Team Andromeda the game itself was inspired by the artwork of French artist Jean Giraud known by his pen name of Moebius. While the idea behind the series was Yukio Futatsugi the art style and concept comes from Jean Giraud work and he should be credited as co-creator of the series.

The first game to really show the power of the Saturn this was a 3D arcade shooter. The plot follows Keil Fluge, who rides the blue Solo Wing in order to stop the Dark Dragon. Aside from a handful of cut scenes there isn't much story in the original game. It was really the third game Azel / Saga, that opened up the story of the series.

A fantastic on rails 3D shooter, that has been rarely bettered today, while the frame rate might not be as smooth as it could have been and the sequel did that better. The original had some better level design in places compared to Zewi, but both are classics. From the water filled palace of the first stage to the giant worms of the second, every level felt and looked different.

Yoshitaka Azuma soundtrack was truly magical and made you feel like you were listening to another world. A must have for any Saturn owner, even if the game was very short and lacked any form of save. Preventing you from keeping any of the extra modes and featured unlocked.

Full playthrough on hard with the true final boss, used three credits in total one on each of the last stages. Used the code to unlock the polygon women, followed by a playthrough on Episode 0 with over one million score, which you can unlock via another cheat code. Two tips for playing pressing A,B,C rapidly makes you shoot far fastest and you regain more health in Episode 0 if you use your standard weapon to shoot enemies.

At the main menu (game type & options), press Up, X, Right, Y, Down, Z, Left, Y, Up, X and you will hear a Dragon raw. Next time you see the Sega logo it will have changed into a women.

Episode 0 bonus round:
At the Main menu (game type & options), press Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, L Trigger, R Trigger. Episode 0 lasts for just over 10 minutes and your aim is to get as high as score as possible in that time, by defeating wave after wave of enemies. The difficulty changes how quickly your health depletes. Once the round is over the game will go to a black screen press A+B+C+Start buttons to reset you back to the title screen at this point.

Footage is captured directly from original hardware in this case a PAL modded Sega Saturn console at 60Hz, via RGB Scart captured via Elgato Game Capture HD60 Pro using a open source scan converter (OSSC). Upscaled to 4K to improve the video bit rate.
