I think this jewel is really good.

It adds 4 passives to the tree, so the total cost is 5 passive points (you need to count the one that Megalomaniac occupies).

For that you can usually get 2 excellent and 1 serviceable notable nodes, or at an extreme budget, 3 excellent nodes.

My suggestion is simple: search for this jewel with a build-specific offensive node, and an all-around high quality defensive node. Then look for a 3rd node that doesn't suck.
