9The final day. We fight Jin and Takaya solo each as we go through some more randomized floors which really just feel like a waste of time at this point. Then we go to fight the final boss, which has about 13 health bars to get through. Nyx goes through all the Arcanas leading up to Death. It does a good job of making it feel like the fight will just keep going on when the boss just keeps getting back up again.
Nyx itself actually looks pretty dumb. The appearance would be so much better if it didn't have that...chalice thing on the top of its head. that just makes it look silly.
After defeating Nyx, then there's a whole bunch of wondering around to do, talking to all the people you met around town and maxed social links for. If they aren't maxed, then they just don't appear at all which is super jarring, especially if its a party member.
And then the ending plays and that's that. P3 Reload is an okay game. It improves on the original, but it feels lacking by not having the things from P3P portable. It has more QoL stuff but I was just wanting more from it. There'll be DLC about The Answer later so I guess eventually I'll record that when it comes out. I never finished the original The Answer because it was so tedious I just got tired of it and watched the cutscenes online instead. And if the base game of this is anything to go by, I don't think they'll change the core gameplay of it enough to make it less boring. So I'm not exactly hyped for it... But we'll see when it comes out.
