Pikmin 2 - Challenge Mode 20: Giant's Bath
15Toting 50 Blue Pikmin, two players roam the Giant's Bath.
In this stage, you will need to use some discretion as many foes surround you. Limited to only Blue Pikmin, you must deal with the water-themed foes: Greater Spotted Jellyfloat, two Hermit Crawmads and a Toady Bloyster (Foe with the Key). Do this carefully, or you'll suffer a growing number of casualties. If you know how to defeat each enemy, then you should be fine. But watch for close calls, like the Spotted Jelly Fish getting close enough to Hermit Crawmads. The Toady Bloyster is toast if you attack swiftly.
Sublevel 2 has you facing the boss Ranging Bloyster. It focuses on whichever captain is currently in control (One-player). In the case of Two-player, it will respond to the closest captain. You have to keep it busy so that you can throw Pikmin onto the weak spot by coordinating with the other player to change distances, forcing it to switch often and barely ever attack. It turns very quickly if you don't. We thought we were screwed when it attacked, but it somehow missed the Pikmin around and under it! Also, there is an ivory Candypop Bub on this floor you'll need to use to uncover the hidden treasure buried on this floor; two objects. There's a duckie head slightly dug in (Paradoxial Enigma... hah).
