I am playing Pit-Fighter for the Sega Genesis using a Game Genie cheat. Pit-Fighter was a great arcade game at the time. Unfortunately it didn't get a descent port to the 16-bit consoles (either the Genesis nor the SNES). I believe that the Genesis port is better, but that isn't saying much.

While messing around with a Game Genie one night I stumbled on a code that K.O. most opponents with 1-Hit. It works best with a move than knocks the opponent down such as a jump kick or your special attack (hitting jump, punch, & kick at the same time). There are a couple of drawbacks to this code:
1. If you get hit, you have to restart. This even applies to the grudge match bonus stages. Your character will either float into the air of sink into the ground.
2. You can't win a grudge match. You have to knock your opponent down, but it won't register as a knockdown. Your opponent won't get back up & you'll have to wait until the stage times out.
