This game is what got me started on watching boxing. Boxing Legends of the RIng features eight legendary middle weights: Jake LaMotta, Rocky Graziano, Ray Leonard, Ray Robinson, Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler, Thomas Hearns, & James Toney (who was still in the middle of his career at the time this game was released). I found this game to be incredibly challenging when I first started playing it.

When playing through career mode, you create a boxer & take him through the ranks. One of the interesting things I first noticed about this game is that Ring Magazine is featured not to mention the Hilton Hotel & HBO. You also hear a make-shift Michael Buffer using his ring announcing phrase "Let's get ready to rumble". As you advance through the ranks, you'll find that the boxers you have beaten, want a rematch. between matches you train by adding attributes to your Power, Stamina, or Chin.

The cheats I have in this video showcase attribute & punch attribute modifiers. You can make the attributes go well beyond their normal limits. When you increase your punch power along with your punches, you can knock an opponent down with just a few hits. With these codes, your regular punches can be more powerful than your special punch.
