Welcome to GamerU's tips and tricks for the new world available for Plants Vs Zombies 2: The Lost City! This video is about a new feature found only in Part 2 of the Lost City: Trap Tiles.

There are two kinds of these trap tiles, and we'll go into the Boulder Trap tile first. These are brown-colored and marked with a boulder symbol. If a plant or zombie steps on it, it will cause a boulder to roll down from the top of the screen and crush anything, plant or zombie, in its way. After a while, the tile will reset and can be triggered again.

On levels with trap tiles, you'll need to get really good at using Boulder Trap tiles to kill off zombie hordes before they steamroll over you. Use plants like Iceberg Lettuce and Stallia to cluster the zombies together before you crush them. Those kind-of disposable plants and others such as Puff-shrooms are great for triggering these traps when you need them without costing too much in plant casualties. Just remember that other zombies can trigger these traps, which can be a problem if Lost Pilot Zombies parachute in and drop onto these traps.

As for the other kind of trap tiles you see, the red-colored Flame Trap tiles, these will trigger a fire trap that will roast anything in the trap tile's lane. These are much less effective because obviously they will kill all of the plants in the lane as well as the zombies, and they are completely ineffective to flying enemies such as Bug Zombies. Use these only as a last resort if you need to. That's all for now, stay tuned to GamerU for more info on Plants Vs Zombies 2: Lost City - Part 2.
