Welcome to GamerU's tips and tricks for Best Fiends! In this video we talk about Meteor Mites. Meteor Mites are little yellow and blue buggers found here and there in the game, mostly by spending keys in the Rescue Box screen.
Their primary use is to level up your characters. Leveled-up characters do more damage, and if they level up enough, they evolve and gain a dramatically boost to their special attack. Meteor Mites are thus invaluable, because you won't last long in later levels unless you level up.
There are two kinds of Meteor Mites: yellow and blue. Other than spending keys, you can get a few yellow mites for free by defeating slugs, destroying or nullifying certain slug attacks, and breaking open crates. But the best way to rack up yellow mites is to buy keys with diamonds, especially in later levels.
Blue mites are much more rare. Other than using keys, you may get one for defeating a slug in later levels, but that's it. And or leveling up exclusive or high-level characters, you'll need both yellow and blue mites. Fortunately you can also trade them for diamonds, one diamond per blue mite. It's a good idea to save diamonds for getting blue mites, at least early in the game.
Where do you get diamonds? Well, you can either buy them with real money, or get lucky during a Rescue Box reward, or you can find them on the board and collect them by making combos near them. Diamonds typically appear one at a time on the board and often after a good combo, so collect diamonds on site if possible and keep those combos going.
