What is this? Well, for you young folks out there, there used to be an awesome magazine called 'Australian Xbox Magazine'. With it, came a physical demo disc that had a bunch of samples of games for you to play on there. Not only this, but it'd also have trailers for upcoming games, even bonus add-on content that would be considered as 'DLC' content today. But it was all on the disc! Another thing that was featured was Play:More videos.
WHAT ARE PLAY:MORE VIDEOS?!
Well, I'm glad you asked! Before YouTube was well established, the only way to record your game footage was on an old VHS, (a.k.a. VCR) video tape player. People would record their gameplay and submit it to Australian Xbox Magazine to show off their skills, show people in-game secrets/easter eggs and even try to beat records. So if you're wondering why the video quality gets bad, that is because it was recorded on an old video tape! Pretty nifty!
