After arriving at Floaroma Town, I head to Route 205 and find a girl, who's father has been captured by Team Galactic at the Valley Windworks. I then take on most of the Team Galactic Grunts, and come across one of their commanders, which will be a more challenging fight than the rest of the Galactic Grunts.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

It is time to go to Route 205, and help the little girl's father, who is at the Valley Windworks, fight the Galactic Grunt at the entrance, and he goes inside and locks the door, then fight the two Galactic Grunts attempting to take the Honey, which they will use to attract Pokémon in great numbers, and it's quite a funny line, and it eventually becomes a reality in Generation 6 where you can use Honey to initiate Horde Battles, so Team Galactic were foreshadowing Horde Battles this whole time. You can use Honey on the trees to attract Pokémon from 6 to 24 hours, I will go more into detail about the Honey Trees in the next part.
Then it is time to enter the Valley Windworks, and if you are wondering about the cuts, I am rotating around my Pokémon so that I can keep my team's levels in balance and so I don't overlevel certain trainers.
At the end is Galactic Commander Mars, and I will go over the team she uses in this battle.
Zubat: Absorb, Supersonic, Astonish, U-turn
Purugly: Fake Out, Scratch, Growl, Thief

One thing I want to go over with Mars, while she is named after the planet Mars, the planet was named after a male Roman god, and is said to represent the symbol for the male gender, even though Galactic Commander Mars is female, but in Spanish, her name is Venus, which makes more sense, as Venus is the representation of the female gender symbol, and Venus is named after a female Roman goddess.
That's trivia out of the way, Mars leads with Zubat, which isn't that that threatening, but it does know U-turn, so if she uses that, she can send in her Purugly right away. Purugly is the evolved form of Glameow, and it is very fast, and it's really strong this point in the game, and despite being Level 16, Glameow doesn't normally evolve until Level 38. Purugly does have an Oran Berry, which it will use when its health is below half, and it knows Thief, which it can use to steal your held item, but you don't lose the item permanently, and Thief was likely included for Purugly, as it originally knew Feint Attack in the original games, which is not in this game, so it was to make sure it knew a Dark-type move for this battle.
After beating Mars, you have saved the little girl's father, and they will tell you that a balloon Pokémon visits on certain days, and that Pokémon only shows up on Fridays, but if you started the game on a Friday, that Pokémon will not appear until next Friday.
I will go over the encounters, they are on both Route 205 and Valley Windworks. First up is Buizel, this is one of the two Water-type Pokémon you can get, Buizel is the speedier one out of the two, and it has good Attack, the downside is that Buizel does not have a Water-type move until Level 15 when it learns Water Gun, and its first Physical Water-type move is Aqua Jet. It does learn some good Physical moves like Ice Fang and Crunch when it evolves, and it can get Waterfall, so it is not too reliant on TMs, so it's a decent choice for a Water-type.
The other one is Shellos, this one is slower, but more bulkier, and it becomes part Ground-type when it evolves into Gastrodon. Shellos learns Water Pulse at Level 15, giving it a good Water-type move for this point in the game, and it does have Recover, which is a nice move to have. When using Shellos, I recommend Storm Drain if you plan on using one on your team, and it is one of the best Water-type options because of its dual Water/Ground-type when it evolves.
Then we have the Pikachu clone of Sinnoh, it is Pachirisu, who's most famous moment was where it was on the winning team in a VGC Tournament back in 2014. Pachirisu's best stat is Speed, and it is quite defensive for a Pokémon who has Speed for its best stat, and it does get some nice support moves, like Charm, Super Fang, Nuzzle, and many others, so it does have some nice utility, but the downside is that Pachirisu does not have good offensive stats, I personally wouldn't recommend using one, but it can be a decent Pokémon to use as it is fast and can learn Charm, but I would personally say that Shinx is a better option than Pachirisu if you prefer using all attacks in battle.
