I finally got a Poké Ball Plus, which means I can get Mew, and the Poké Ball Plus can be used as a controller, which I do use in this video, and many shenanigans happen, like picking the wrong move in battle, and having bad aim when catching Pokémon, but anyway in this video, I restore my Fossil in Cinnabar Island and check out Pokémon Mansion.

As the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description.

I only just recently got the Poké Ball Plus, and I think this is a great timing, because Mew does have connection to Pokémon Mansion, which has cool music, and I also like Cinnabar Island's music in this game. To get Mew, you go into Mystery Gift and get with a Poké Ball Plus, then you can obtain a Level 1 Mew, this is the only way to get Mew in this game, and you can only do it once, so if you have multiple accounts, you can't send Mew from one Poké Ball Plus to another account. Now to go over Mew, this Pokémon is capable of learning every TM move in the game, and you can even get it at the beginning of the game, so this makes Mew a great team member. It will have Swift at Level 11, and it can learn some good early TMs, like Headbutt and Scald, and eventually Psychic through TM. Mew does not get Nasty Plot until Level 88, and Transform until Level 99, so that is quite a long wait. Mew is more of a Pokémon you would use in competitive multiplayer, that versatile movepool is the reason why Mew is a great Pokémon.
Now to go over the trade, in Let's Go Pikachu, you get Alolan Grimer, and in Let's Go Eevee, you get Alolan Meowth.
First up is Alolan Grimer, which can be evolved into Alolan Muk in one Level. It will have Crunch once obtained, and can learn Poison Jab through TM. Poison/Dark is a great type combination, and Alolan Muk is the best Dark-type in the game, it can also learn the Elemental Punches, and has good HP and Attack, so if you want to use a Dark-type on your team, I recommend this trade.
For Alolan Meowth, for Let's Go Eevee players that want to use a Persian on the team, here it is. You can evolve Alolan Meowth into Alolan Persian right away, I think in this game, Alolan Meowth evolves by level up, because in Sun & Moon, it was a Friendship evolution. Alolan Persian has better Special Attack than the Kantonian Persian, so it is compatible with Dark Pulse and Thunderbolt, it will have Nasty Plot when obtained. I would say that Alolan Persian is decent at best, if you like it, then go with it.
Next up is the Fossils, and thank God you don't get them at Level 5, instead you get them at Level 44, so they are ready to go. First up is Lord Helix himself, that Twitch Plays Pokémon meme will never get old. Omanyte will have Hydro Pump right away, and unfortunately Ancient Power is not available, so Omanyte can't make any use of its Rock-type. It can be evolved into Omastar in one Level, but it would learn Shell Smash as an Omanyte at Level 48, while Omastar doesn't get it until Level 60. Omastar learns some good TM moves, like Ice Beam and Surf. As you will be fighting Fire-types, Omastar will make a great team member.
From the Dome Fossil, you get Kabuto, who is more of a Physical attacker, while Omanyte had good Defense and Special Attack. Kabuto will have Aqua Jet and Rock Slide when obtained, and can be taught Waterfall through TM. It will evolve into Kabutops in one level, it can learn Leech Life at Level 54, and Swords Dance at Level 63. Kabutops is compatible with some good TM options, like Brick Break and X-Scissor. If you don't have a Rock or Water-type on your team, Kabutops or Omastar make good additions, I prefer Kabutops out of the two.
From the Old Amber, you can get Aerodactyl, this thing has massive Speed and good Attack, and is a great user of Taunt, which you get the TM from a scientist in the lab. Aerodactyl will come with Crunch and Rock Slide, and that high Speed makes it sweep Fire-types, which you will be fighting a lot of very soon. Aerodactyl's movepool is limited, but Rock Slide, Crunch and Fly will be all it will need, and you can ride Aerodactyl, where you fly on its back.
There are some new encounters in Pokémon Mansion, first up is Magmar, who is unfortunately outclassed by a lot of Fire-types, and that you can't get Magmortar in this game, which does limit Magmar's usability. Magmar does get some interesting moves, like Flamethrower, Fire Punch and Confuse Ray, and for TMs, it can get Psychic, Thunder Punch and Brick Break. If you like Magmar, go with it, it has good offensive stats.
Then we have Ditto, who is not only a pain to catch, but it's only use is for Pokédex filler, and you can't even breed in this game, so don't use Ditto. It is a 1% encounter, and in the basement, it is a 10% encounter.
You do get Rock Slide from a Coach Trainer, and it's a great move, and some interesting TMs, like Foul Play and Sludge Bomb.
