I have downloaded the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC update, The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero, well I only did it in Pokémon Violet as that is my main version, and that it costs £30, so I decided to only go with one version.
When you download the DLC, you get a code for Hisuian Zoroark, which you can then obtain in your game, the Hisuian Zoroark is at Level 50 and it comes with the moves Happy Hour, Bitter Malice, Nasty Plot, and Tera Blast, this Zoroark has a Dark Tera Type, Hisuian Zoroark can learn Dark Pulse to make use of the Dark Tera Type.
Bitter Malice is Hisuian Zoroark's signature move, it is a 75 Power Special Ghost-type move that decreases the target's Attack by one stage, and Happy Hour is a move that doubles the amount of prize money received after battle, and if a Pokémon with the Amulet Coin participates in that battle, the amount of money is quadrupled, and money earned from moves like Pay Day and Make It Rain is doubled after using Happy Hour. This can be good for money grinding in the Academy Ace Tournament, the best way to do it is to use Happy Hour with Zoroark on the first turn, and if possible, you can bring Gholdengo and use Make It Rain to earn extra prize money, that way you can get a lot of money each time you take part in the Academy Ace Tournament, which I do in this video to show you how much money you get from each battle.
The DLC does come with new outfits, and the Zoroark is available from now till October 31st 2023, and this is a good reward as this is the only way to get Hisuian Zoroark as of now, because once Pokémon HOME updates with Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, you can transfer over Hisuian Zoroark from Pokémon Legends: Arceus through Pokémon HOME.
Going over Hisuian Zoroark, compared to the Dark-type Zoroark, it has higher Special Attack and Speed in exchange for HP and Attack, and Bitter Malice can be a helpful move in Tera Raids, it can weaken the opponent's Attack stat to help decrease the damage they deal, and it can use Nasty Plot to increase its Special Attack stat. It can use Shadow Ball and Hyper Voice for its main STAB moves, it does get some good coverage moves like Icy Wind, Grass Knot, Dark Pulse, Psychic, Flamethrower, Sludge Bomb, and Focus Blast, and it can use some moves to lower the opponent's stats, like Icy Wind, Fake Tears, Scary Face, Low Sweep, and some good status options like Taunt, Calm Mind, Trick, Will-O-Wisp, Imprison, and a few others. Hisuian Zoroark can be a decent Physical Attacker, it has access to Swords Dance, Shadow Claw, Body Slam, Low Kick, Crunch, and Phantom Force, it has many options to use in battle.
It is not confirmed when the DLC updates will come out, they did list that they will come out later in 2023, and that some Pokémon will be returning, much like what they did in Sword & Shield where those games had DLC which brought back Pokémon from previous generations.
