Here are the team of Pokémon in this video, which was decided by the random number generator.
P1 Team: Sandshrew, Krabby, Pikachu, Swinub, Exeggcute, Sneasel
CPU Team: Shellder, Slowking, Smoochum, Meowth, Eevee, Kangaskhan

Then, I will list the moves for each Pokémon in battle, starting with my team.
Sandshrew: Earthquake, Slash, Fury Cutter, Sandstorm
Krabby: Crabhammer, Strength, Blizzard, Guillotine
Pikachu: Thunderbolt, Headbutt, Iron Tail, Thunder Wave
Swinub: Blizzard, Earthquake, Strength, Mist
Exeggcute: Psychic, Giga Drain, Stun Spore, Leech Seed
Sneasel: Ice Punch, Beat Up, Slash, Screech

The CPU's team of Pokémon and moves.
Shellder: Surf, Ice Beam, Swift, Supersonic
Slowking: Psychic, Water Gun, Disable, Growl
Smoochum: Psychic, Blizzard, Sing, Sweet Kiss
Meowth: Slash, Faint Attack, Shadow Ball, Screech
Eevee: Take Down, Iron Tail, Shadow Ball, Sand-Attack
Kangaskhan: Dizzy Punch, Bite, Surf, Leer

When I am up against many Normal-type Pokémon on the CPU team, that is where I have to make use of different Pokémon, as the Normal-type is one without many weaknesses, and the CPU does have some Psychic-type Pokémon on the team, while I have many Pokémon of different types that can put them to good use.
The CPU leads with Eevee, and I start off with Exeggcute, and because I knew it had Shadow Ball, I had to switch out, and I went with Sandshrew, as it has the best Defense out of the Pokémon that I have, Krabby has good Defense, but I don't find it to be reliable when it cannot make use of its type for attacking, as Water-type moves were special back then, and Krabby has very low Special Attack to even put them to use.
Kangaskhan is the one that can prove to be a threat, the best that I could do was to have Pikachu use Thunder Wave to paralyze it, then have some of my other Pokémon get in as much damage as they can until it goes down, and about when I went over Krabby's Crabhammer, for neutral damage, Strength is the better move as that comes off of Krabby's higher Attack stat.
With the Psychic-types, I have Exeggcute to fight Slowking, and its Giga Drain can be good against Shellder, but the downside is having to take an Ice Beam from it before landing a hit on it, while Pikachu is the better choice to target Shellder's lower Special Defense stat. I have Sneasel to fight Smoochum, not only does it resist Blizzard, but it is also immune to Smoochum's Psychic, and I can use Slash to target its low Defense stat. Swinub is there for a backup, and I don't have many options to fight Meowth, so I will have to put whichever I have left to fight it, but it depends on when Meowth comes out in the battle.
