Then, I will list the moves for each Pokémon in battle, starting with my team.

Grimer: Sludge Bomb, Frustration, Toxic, Screech
Snorlax: Headbutt, Fire Punch, Defense Curl, Curse

Espeon: Psybeam, Swift, Tail Whip, Psych Up

The CPU's team of Pokémon and moves.
Charizard: Fire Punch, Wing Attack, Growl, Scary Face
Victreebel: SolarBeam, Acid, Sleep Powder, Growth
Gloom: SolarBeam, Sludge Bomb, Sleep Powder, Sunny Day
Dunsparce: Strength, Dig, Attract, Glare
Elekid: Thunderbolt, Headbutt, Screech, Light Screen
Poliwag: Hydro Pump, Body Slam, Hypnosis, Rain Dance

Here is the fifth Free Battle video for Pokémon Stadium 2, as I uploaded the first Free Battle video up weeks ago, I decided to put up the other four. I did get a good lead for this one, I had Slugma, while the CPU had Gloom. Slugma can be very hard to use as it not only has low Speed, but it is not that defensive, and Fire isn't really one of the best types defensively, while it does have nice resistances to types like Grass, Ice, Bug, and Steel, their weaknesses to common attacking types like Water and Ground are what make Fire-types very difficult to use defensively.
To go over other Pokémon that I have, Kabutops has AncientPower, this is the generation that introduced that move, it has a 10% chance of boosting all stats by one stage, and this is my best option against Charizard. Grimer has Frustration, to those of you that have not been around back then, Frustration is a move based on the Pokémon's friendship, otherwise known as happiness, Frustration's maximum base power is 102 if the Pokémon's friendship is at the lowest, the opposite move is Return, which is more powerful if your Pokémon's friendship is higher. Conversion was reworked in this game, in Gen 1, Conversion worked like the move Reflect Type in later generations where it would copy the opponent's type, but starting from this generation, Conversion changes the user's type to the same type as any of their moves, as Porygon2 has Zap Cannon and Thief, it can change to either an Electric-type or a Dark-type, and starting from Gen 6, Conversion changes type to match the move in the first slot.
To list some combo moves on some of the Rental Pokémon, Gloom has Sunny Day and SolarBeam, where if the sun is up, SolarBeam does not use a turn to charge up, and while Victreebel does also have SolarBeam, it does not have Sunny Day like Gloom does. Poliwag has Rain Dance to increase the power of its Hydro Pump, and Dunsparce can use Glare and Attract to reduce the chances of its opponent attacking.
Another Pokémon I want to go over is Snorlax, the best Pokémon in Gen 2 competitive battling, and this Snorlax does have Curse, but the downside is it does not have Rest, but it can use Headbutt for a Normal-type move, don't know why it has Defense Curl when Curse has the same effect, but also increases Attack while decreasing Speed, but then again if Snorlax had Amnesia, it would make it even harder to take down. Curse back then did not have a type, it wasn't till Generation 5 where it was made a Ghost-type move, because back then, it was the ???-type, and if a Pokémon with Curse knows the move Conversion, it will not change to the ???-type.
