Pokémon Stadium - Prime Cup: Great Ball
Next up is the Great Ball difficulty for Prime Cup, and in this one, Trainers start using evolved Pokémon, or some Pokémon that have good stats for not being evolved. In Prime Cup, all Trainers use Level 100 Pokémon, and I go with a team of some mid-stage Pokémon, like Kadabra, Dragonair, and Graveler, and I do include some other Pokémon like Magnemite, Dewgong, and Magmar for type balance.
I will list each Trainers, and the nicknames of the Pokémon, with the species name of the Pokémon in brackets.

The first three battles aren't too hard, well aside from Focus Energy from Judoboy, but as he tends to use Focus Energy on the first turn, this does leave them open to an attack. Gambler's team uses Metronome and 1-Hit KO move like Horn Drill. Cool♀ uses Grass and Water-type Pokémon, Birdboy in the 6th round uses Flying-type Pokémon, his Gyarados can be a threat if you are not prepared. In Round 7, Lab Man uses moves like Recover which heal the Pokémon, and if you didn't bring any Pokémon that know Physical Attacks, his Chansey will give you a hard time, Venusaur and Exeggcute both have Leech Seed. Cool♂ has Moltres on his team, Fire Blast and Sky Attack can deal some damage, and the rest of his team have some powerful moves, it is dependant on the team you select for these battles, and if you have good counters to his Pokémon.
