Pokémon Stadium Free Battle 52
Here are the team of Pokémon in this video, which was decided by the random number generator.
P1 Team: Ditto, Kabuto, Gengar, Arcanine, Jolteon, Tangela
CPU Team: Ivysaur, Slowpoke, Tentacruel, Ekans, Raichu, Nidorino
Then, I will list the moves for each Pokémon in battle, starting with my team.
Ditto: Transform
Kabuto: Hydro Pump, Blizzard, Slash, Double Team
Gengar: Thunderbolt, Night Shade, Hypnosis, Confuse Ray
Arcanine: Fire Blast, Take Down, Dragon Rage, Substitute
Jolteon: Thunderbolt, Pin Missile, Toxic, Sand-Attack
Tangela: Mega Drain, Growth, Toxic, Double-Edge
The CPU's team of Pokémon and moves.
Ivysaur: Razor Leaf, Sleep Powder, Growth, Double-Edge
Slowpoke: Surf, Psychic, Thunder Wave, Amnesia
Tentacruel: Acid, Supersonic, Hydro Pump, Cut
Ekans: Earthquake, Acid, Screech, Body Slam
Raichu: Thunder, Thunder Wave, Flash, Mega Kick
Nidorino: Double-Edge, Horn Drill, Focus Energy, Thunder
The CPU has a lot of Poison-type Pokémon on the team, while I have Pokémon that have different types. I lead the battle with Gengar, while the CPU has Tentacruel, and I do have Thunderbolt to get in some damage, as Tentacruel is not an easy Pokémon to fight against, this Pokémon has a high Special stat, and while it is weak to Ground-type moves, using a Ground-type Pokémon is not easy as Tentacruel's Hydro Pump will likely take out the Ground-type Pokémon that is in the battle.
This battle was where I was able to make the best use out of Ditto, because for a Pokémon with low stats and is reliant on the move Transform, Ditto is a very Pokémon to put to use, but with the CPU using Raichu, I can use Transform and then use Thunder Wave to paralyze Raichu, and if I can take it out, then I can use Thunder Wave to paralyze other Pokémon on the CPU team.
As with the rest of the CPU team, I have Arcanine to take on Ivysaur, and I do have Jolteon's Pin Missile as an option, but Thunderbolt is more reliable in most cases, and Tangela has Growth and Toxic, and I have it to fight against Slowpoke. I do try to make sure the battle lasts about 6 minutes or more, so there can be times where I switch out the Pokémon instead of finishing the battle with one move to try and get in some time, or maybe see if I can get one Pokémon in on the battle.
