After the events at Lythos Castle, Alear learns that Gradlon has risen, and in order to close the portal formed by Sombron, they need to destroy the Fell Dragon Shards located around Gradlon. They gained new allies in Veyle and Mauvier, and they have also got Marth back at long last, and Alear's true powers have awoken.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Back to the Somniel, and we have many things that are unlocked, first up is the Expert difficulty for Wyvern Ride, and there is a lot to go over with Alear's new power.
After the Chapter 22 battle, and collecting all 12 Emblem Rings, Alear has been revived as an Emblem, not just any Emblem, like how Marth is known as the Emblem of Beginnings, Alear is the Fire Emblem, the 13th Emblem. Alear's Emblem Ring is known as the Ring of the Connector, and you don't equip it onto any unit, and there is an unused quote where the unit would say "Divine Dragon Alear", and yes, they do say Alear's name, but that is not used in the game as Alear is a character that you can name.
Alear's Bond Levels are based on his or her support with other units, if Alear has a C Support with another unit, that unit will be at Bond Level 5 with Alear. To engage with Alear, you must have Alear adjacent to a unit and use Engage+, Alear will become an Emblem, and this does not affect the Engage Meter of the ally.
For skills, Holy Aura has unit deal bonus damage against Fell Dragon units, and this also affects attacks from allies within 2 spaces. Attuned boosts all stats of Alear and the engage partner by 4, and each unit type has different stat boosts, Dragon units have 1 extra for all of their stats, while the rest gain two stat boosts based on the unit type, Strength for Backup, Dexterity for Cavalry, Speed for Covert, Defense fo Armored, Resistance for Flying, Magic for Mystical, and Luck for Qi Adept. The Engage attack is Dragon Blast where the unit uses two attacks, a sword and a magic beam. If Alear is adjacent to the engage partner, they will use Bond Blast, where the engage partner uses the magic beam attack, and for effects, Dragon units deal 20% more damage, Backup units adds 20% of Strength to the sword attack, Mystical units add 20% more damage to the beam attack, and Qi Adept units break foes. The main weapon for Emblem Alear is Lyrátion, where if the unit defeats a foe in player phase, this fills adjacent allies' engage meters by 1. At Bond Level 5, which is unlocked through C Support with Alear, Bond Forger grants Hit and Avoid +20 to unit and allies within 2 spaces that are engaged with an Emblem.
Bond Level 10 is unlocked through B Support with Alear, and Dragon's Fist is the second weapon, this uses the magic stat to deal damage and hits twice, and Sword Prof. and Arts Prof. are the skills from Alear. At Bond Level 20, unlocked through A Support with Alear, Bond Forger+ boosts Hit and Avoid by 30 for unit and allies that are within 2 spaces that are engaged with an Emblem, Holy Shield neutralizes effectiveness against the unit, and Oligoludia is the third weapon for Emblem Alear, and this deals bonus damage against Corrupted units.
We gained two new allies, Veyle is a Dragon unit like Alear, and she can put Emblems to good use, but as she has better Magic, Celica can be a good Emblem for her, as Warp Ragnarok has more Attack range when equipped to Dragon units, and some of Celica's skills can work well on Veyle, like Tome Precision. Corrin's Draconic Hex is another skill you will want to inherit onto Veyle, and Dragon Vein is a good skill to have, Byleth is another Emblem that boosts Magic, and Goddess Dance boosts all stats by 3 for one turn, Veyle has a lot of options for Emblems.
Mauvier comes as a Royal Knight, but you can reclass him to a Griffin Knight if you want to, and for Emblems, you might want to pick up Resolve from Ike, Unyielding from Marth isn't a bad skill to pick up, Vantage from Leif if you want to make use of Mauvier as an enemy phase unit. I would say that the best Emblems for Mauvier are Leif or Eirika, or you can go with Roy for a good frontline unit, there are some good options to go with.
Next are the units they can support with, not counting Alear, and they are the last two units we have, I will go over who they can support with.
Veyle: Clanne, Alfred, Diamant, Citrinne, Ivy, Hortensia, Timerra, Merrin, Pandreo, Seadall, Mauvier
Mauvier: Vander, Céline, Amber, Ivy, Rosado, Pandreo, Bunet, Anna, Lindon, Veyle

A bit of trivia about Fire Emblem Engage, around the time Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes came out, some images from this game were leaked online, one of them showed a picture of Alear, but one notable image showed Mauvier's support conversation with Vander, which does kind of give away that we would get Mauvier at some point, and he would turn against the Four Hounds.
