It is the second part of the Galarian Star Tournament, and I pick some different teammates throughout the Galarian Star Tournament. For Gym Leaders that are version exclusive, I will be including their possible teammates, and their teams. I will be going over Kabu, Bea, and Gordie in this part, in Shield, it would be Allister and Melony instead, and I could go over their teams as well.
Kabu: Milo, Nessa, Peony
Bea: Nessa, Gordie, Mustard
Allister: Milo, Melony, Mustard
Gordie: Nessa, Bea, Raihan, Klara
Melony: Nessa, Allister, Raihan, Avery

The next thing is to go over their teams, and I will be including both version exclusive Gym Leader's teams as well.
Kabu's team:
Torkoal: Heat Crash, Stealth Rock, Body Press, Earthquake
Arcanine: Extreme Speed, Flare Blitz, Play Rough, Iron Head
Centiskorch: Fire Lash, Lunge, Crunch, Power Whip

Kabu leads with Torkoal, which has Drought, and that is very helpful, as that gives Kabu's Fire-type Pokémon a boost in their Fire-type moves. He is a great partner to pick if you have any Pokémon that benefit from the sun. He will Gigantamax his Centiskorch, and any Fire-type moves used become G-Max Centiferno, and like Fire Spin, it will trap targets for 4 to 5 turns.

Bea's team:
Hawlucha: Flying Press, Swords Dance, High Jump Kick, Poison Jab
Falinks: No Retreat, Megahorn, Close Combat, Throat Chop
Machamp: Fire Punch, Knock Off, Cross Chop, Ice Punch

Bea is a Gym Leader exclusive to Sword, and she has some hard hitting Fighting-types, her Hawlucha has Swords Dance, Falinks has No Retreat, and her Machamp can Gigantamax, and any Fighting-type moves Machamp uses when Gigantamaxed become G-Max Chi Strike, boosting the critical hit ratio of her side of the field.

Allister's team:
Dusknoir: Shadow Punch, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Disable
Cursola: Hex, Strength Sap, Ancient Power, Amnesia
Gengar: Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Dark Pulse, Hypnosis

Allister is the Shield exclusive Gym Leader, and his team of Ghost-types have some good attacks. He will Gigantamax his Gengar, and any Ghost-type moves used become G-Max Terror, which prevents targets from switching out, but I have not seen any opponents switch out their Pokémon.

Gordie's team:
Shuckle: Sticky Web, Stealth Rock, Gastro Acid, Rock Tomb
Tyranitar: Crunch, Stone Edge, Body Press, Ice Punch
Coalossal: Tar Shot, Earthquake, Flare Blitz, Stone Edge

Even though Bede and Opal are next up, I wanted to go with Gordie, so that way we could have the version exclusive Gym Leaders. Shuckle is meant to set up hazards with Stealth Rock and Sticky Web, and his Tyranitar has Sand Stream, which can be helpful if you have a team that benefits from Sand Stream. Gordie will Gigantamax his Coalossal, and any Rock-type moves used become G-Max Volcalith, and after use, any non-Rock-type Pokémon on the opponent's side will take damage at the end of each turn, and it lasts for 4 turns.

Melony's team:
Mr. Rime: Freeze-Dry, Psychic, Energy Ball, Nasty Plot
Darmanitan: Flare Blitz, Icicle Crash, Stone Edge, Earthquake
Lapras: Blizzard, Hydro Pump, Thunder, Life Dew

Like with Allister, Melony is also a Shield exclusive Gym Leader. In the Crown Tundra trailer, it did show her using a Frosmoth when showing off the Galarian Star Tournament, but she does not use Frosmoth in the Galarian Star Tournament. Her Darmanitan does have Zen Mode, so it gains the extra Attack and Speed, as well as the Fire-type alongside its Ice-type. Melony will Gigantamax her Lapras, and any Ice-type moves used become G-Max Resonance, which activates Aurora Veil on her side of the field, it's the reason why Lapras is one of the most used Pokémon in Double Battles.
