I used: Grimmsnarl, Chandelure, Togedemaru, and Gastrodon
My Opponent used: Torkoal, Cinccino, Togekiss, and Leafeon
Stadium: Standard
Battle BGM: Trainer

Here is my first Pokémon Sword & Shield online battle that is a Double Battle, so I made a team that was suited for Double Battles. I use a site called Pikalytics to get ideas on movesets and held items, as I prefer to not use the same held item on different Pokémon, so I don't like having two Pokémon on the same team hold Leftovers.
As for my team, Grimmsnarl is an excellent lead, he has Reflect and Light Screen to support his teammates, and with Prankster, I will ensure that Grimmsnarl will put up the screens right away, while Chandelure has a Choice Scarf, which allows her to outspeed many opponents, and she has Heat Wave, which is more preferred over Flamethrower or Fire Blast for Double Battles, as Heat Wave hits both targets, so the spread damage is nice to have. Moves like Heat Wave, Rock Slide, and Icy Wind are popular move options when you are doing Double Battles, and my Chandelure does have Trick, so I can screw over my opponents, like my opponent's Torkoal for example.
While Gastrodon has been a staple to Double Battle teams since Gen 5, I do have a history of using Gastrodon in Double Battles, due to having access to moves like Scald, Earth Power, and Ice Beam, while Recover and Protect fill in very well. My Gastrodon has Storm Drain, so if my opponent is using a Water-type attacker, I can switch in Gastrodon, and the Special Attack boost from Storm Drain can really help get in some good damage with Scald and Earth Power. While Togedemaru is a strange option, I have heard about it being used in VGC Tournaments in Sun & Moon, where Togedemaru can use moves like Nuzzle, Fake Out, and Spiky Shield, and I do remember the Level 1 Togedemaru set with Endeavor, along with Trick Room support. My Togedemaru has Lightning Rod, so like with my Gastrodon, I can switch in Togedemaru to any Electric-type move, and unlike Gastrodon, my Togedemaru does not have any Special moves, so he is more about disrupting foes with Nuzzle and Iron Head.
Now for my opponents team, Eruption is a very popular move on Torkoal in Double Battles, and this Pokémon is often paired up with a Trick Room user or After You, as Torkoal is normally very slow, and my opponent has some good synergy with his Cinccino and Torkoal, where he can have Cinccino use After You to ensure Torkoal will go next and use Eruption for heavy damage, as Cinccino does have a high Speed stat.
I wasn't sure if his Leafeon had Chlorophyll or not, but Leafeon does have respectable Speed and is a great sweeper in the sun with Swords Dance, and I have heard about Togekiss being one of the most overpowered Dynamax users in the game with access to Max Airstream, which is very popular in any competitive scene in Gen 8, and with Nasty Plot, this will ensure that Togekiss will be able to sweep entire teams, as well as scoring a ton of flinches with Air Slash with Serene Grace, this is a very tough Pokémon to stop once Togekiss has all of those speed boosts from Max Airstream.
