We are onto the second week of Surprise Trades, well in my case, and I don't stream, instead I sometimes record the trades and upload it so it goes up on a weekend. The next Pokémon that I will be Surprise Trading is the Fire-type Scorbunny.
When breeding, I try to go for at least 4-5 perfect IVs, or Individual Values, and Egg Moves, so in this case, Scorbunny's Egg Moves are Super Fang, High Jump Kick, Sucker Punch, and Sand Attack, and all of them have a Jolly Nature, as Scorbunny's best stats are Attack and Speed, so it is good as a Physical attacker.
Now onto the info, Scorbuny has Speed and Attack as its best stats, which does carry over when it evolves, and it does get some nice Level up moves, like Quick Attack, Double Kick, Flame Charge, Headbutt, and Bounce, so it is very reliant on TMs and TRs in order to get good type coverage.
Scorbunny evolves into Raboot at Level 16, but if you keep it as a Scorbunny until Level 17, it can get Flame Charge earlier, while Raboot does not get it until Level 19. Raboot will evolve again at Level 35, and once it is evolved into Cinderace, it will learn its signature move Pyro Ball, it is a 120 power Physical Fire-type move that has a 10% chance of burning the target, but it has 90 Accuracy, with high Speed and Attack, Cinderace is an excellent Physical Attacker, and it is a very popular Pokémon in competitive battling, despite not having its Hidden Ability at the time. Its Hidden Ability is Libero, which allows Cinderace to change its type depending on the last move it used, so if it were to use Double Kick, it would become a Fighting-type, so once Libero is released, I expect to see Cinderace get even more usage in the competitive scene. Cinderace does get another signature move called Court Change, which it will learn at Level 62, and it allows both sides to swap entry hazards and screens, so if Cinderace's side has Stealth Rock set up on their side, it can swap them to the opposing team's side, and it is a good user of the Heavy-Duty Boots item, which prevents Cinderace from being affected by entry hazards like Spikes and Stealth Rock, it has become a popular item for Pokémon that have a glaring weakness to Rock, like Frosmoth, Centiskorch, and a few others.
As for its TM and TR movepool, Cinderace can get some nice moves, for TMs, it can get Fire Punch, U-turn, Low Sweep, Assurance, and Acrobatics, and for TR moves, it can learn Flare Blitz, Blaze Kick, Low Kick, Bulk Up, Zen Headbutt, Iron Head, Gunk Shot, and a few others, even though Electro Ball and Shadow Ball are nice moves, Cinderace should not be using Special moves, as its Special Attack stat isn't that great, so don't think about giving it Blast Burn, because even if Cinderace is a fully evolved Fire starter, you should not give it any Special Attacks. For what moves to go with on Cinderace, Pyro Ball is a huge recommendation, but Flare Blitz is an alternative if you want more Accuracy, although the recoil damage can be a downside, High Jump Kick is a good coverage option against Rock, Dark, and a few other types, and U-turn is a popular option, while Gunk Shot, Iron Head, Sucker Punch, and Zen Headbutt are good coverage moves, and if you are doing 6v6 battles, Court Change is really good if your opponent likes using Spikes and Stealth Rock.
Even without its Hidden Ability, Cinderace is still a force in competitive battling, and things will change greatly once Libero is released, then it will become an unpredictable opponent who will have STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) in about every move it can throw out at its foes.
