I have finally arrived at Motostoke, which looks like a factory town with the gears and the industrial setting of it. After Sonia teaches us about Rotomi, it is time to explore the town, and that there is the Gym Challenge where I have to fight all eight Gyms in Galar.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Motostoke is a large town in Galar, and it has cool music, but anyway, we learn about Rotomi, which is a bit like Poké Pelago from Sun & Moon where your Pokémon can earn experience or find items by doing jobs, even when in the PC. There is an NPC who will trade you a Skwovet for a Bunnelby, you can encounter Bunnelby in the Wild Area.
Because the Wild Area is the only place you can get Bunnelby, I will go over it, Bunnelby is outclassed as a Normal-type by Wooloo and Skwovet, and while it does become part Ground-type when it evolves into Diggersby, it's not the greatest, unless you get really lucky and get a Bunnelby with Huge Power through the Max Raid Battles, then it would be worth considering.
The reason I enter houses and talk to every NPC is that sometimes you can get good items if you look around and talk to NPCs. There is one that gives you the TR for Focus Energy, and one that gives you Hi Tech Earbuds. There is also the Battle Café, where you can battle the owner daily and he will give you a random food item, like a Shalour Sable from the Kalos Region, and you can even get a Sachet or Whipped Dream, which are used to respectively evolve Spritzee or Swirlix when traded while holding the items.
I also forgot to show that there was a hair salon where you can have a haircut or dye hair, I will show that later on.
Before taking the lift, Leon will give you an item depending on your starter, you will get the Miracle Seed if you picked Grookey, Charcoal if you picked Scorbunny, or Mystic Water if you picked Sobble.
When you arrive at the Gym, well it's more of a Stadium, you have to choose a number between 1 to 999, there can only be one guess which number I go for, and I will give you a hint, it is Metang's Pokédex number, and in case you are wondering, the Beldum line is not in the Galar Dex.
Down the alleyway, you can find a TM for Pay Day, as well as an NPC, where I believe something special will happen after beating the main story, and you can fish for a Magikarp or Chewtle, as well as new encounter, the Water/Ground-type Barboach. It is a 10% encounter, and while Water/Ground is a nice type, Barboach doesn't have the best stats for a while and it isn't until Level 30 that it will evolve. It does get some nice moves like Aqua Tail and Earthquake, but the downside is that Whiscash is a bit average for a Water/Ground-type, and there are better options. There is another NPC in town where you have to find a missing Minccino, which I will eventually show in a later video.
After arriving at the Budew Drop Inn, Sonia tells us about a legend about a hero who had slain gigantic Pokémon with a sword and shield, hence the title of the games. Then we encounter the villainous team of this game, they are known as Team Yell, and they are fans of a girl named Marnie. In one of the fights, Hop teams up with me in a Double Battle.
After checking in, all of the Galar Gym Leaders, well seven of them show up, and that the Gym Leader of this town, Kabu cannot be challenged until two badges are earned, and another thing to note is that this game has version exclusive Gym Leaders, in Sword it is Bea, a Fighting-type Gym Leader, while in Shield, it will be Allister, a Ghost-type Gym Leader who's face looks like a Shy Guy mask.
After leaving the stadium, we can fly to previous towns, but with the Flying Taxi, where a Corviknight will carry you across the region. This does make sense, because I'm sure there have been players that like to Fly around on a Pidgey, but then again you did ride a Charizard in Sun & Moon for Fly.
