We got an update to Pokémon UNITE, which added new Holowear for Lucario, Dragonite, and Mamoswine, and the next Pokémon to be added into the game is Delphox, this one is an Attacker, which we have so many of because we did have Espeon and Duraludon before then. I use Delphox in this video, and I do show a mode that is happening at the time I recorded this video, I will list the Pokémon used during the first battle, starting with my side of the match.
Zeraora
Charizard
Lucario
Mamoswine

The opponent's team of Pokémon.
Machamp
Garchomp
Greninja
Talonflame
Pikachu

One thing I have noticed with the playable Pokémon in this game is that some of them have been playable in Pokkén Tournament, the examples being Gardevoir, Machamp, Gengar, Charizard, and Garchomp, and right now we got Delphox, technically it was its pre-evolved form Braixen that was playable in Pokkén Tournament, and unfortunately, Delphox did get datamined about a month of two before release, much like Espeon.
Going over Delphox, it is an Attacker that specializes in ranged moves, it starts off matches as Fennekin, and its Ability is Blaze, when Delphox's HP is low and it uses a move, it deals additional damage to opposing Pokémon with a fireball, and the Ability goes on cooldown, and for its basic attack, it is a ranged attack that becomes a boosted attack every three attacks, which deals damage to all opposing Pokémon it hits.
Fennekin's starting moves are Ember and Will-O-Wisp, Ember is a ranged move that deal damage to opposing Pokémon it hits, and Will-O-Wisp deals damage, and when the flames explode, it decreases the movement speed of opposing Pokémon for a short time.
Fennekin evolves into Braixen at Level 4, and it doesn't learn any moves during the Braixen stage, it learns moves at Level 6 when it evolves into Delphox, those moves being Fire Blast or Mystical Fire, which replace Ember. Fire Blast deals damage to opposing Pokémon, and it leaves a zone of flames which can cause a delayed explosion which deals damage to opposing Pokémon, and Mystical Fire is a ranged move that deals damage, and the fire explodes, damaging any Pokémon in its area of effect.
At Level 7, Delphox learns Fire Spin or Flame Charge, and in the main series games, Braixen does learn both of those moves, so it would have been nice to have them at around Level 4 or 5, but anyway, they replace Will-O-Wisp. Fire Spin has Delphox create a fiery vortex that deals damage to opposing Pokémon, and it moves to the nearest Pokémon and deals damage to them and decreases their movement speed for a short time, and after a set amount of time, the flames has an increased chance of dealing damage and leaves opposing Pokémon unable to act for a short time, and Flame Charge has Delphox charge forward, and if there are any opposing Pokémon in range, Delphox summons three flames to attack, which decrease the opposing Pokémon's movement speed for a short time, and it can be used while Delphox is using Fire Blast or Mystical Fire.
Delphox's Unite Move is Fanciful Fireworks, which it learns at Level 9, this deal damage over time, and opposing Pokémon have their movement speed decreased and weakened HP recovery for a short time.
At Level 11, Fire Blast or Mystical Fire are upgraded, Fire Blast deals increased damage, and Mystical Fire reduces the cooldown for all moves if it hits, and the cooldown is reduced further if it hits a Pokémon from the opposing side, and at Level 13, Fire Spin or Flame Charge are upgraded, Fire Spin has increased damage when the flames have intensified, and Flame Charge increases Delphox's movement speed for a short time when the move is used.
For items, Delphox can put to use Wise Glasses and Choice Specs, as it is a ranged attacker that uses Special moves, it can work with Sp. Atk. Specs, Buddy Barrier, and Energy Amplifier based on the set, and with both Fire Blast and Fire Spin, it can get in some huge damage on its opponents, and on the site, most of Delphox's best match-ups are against Supporters like Eldegoss, Mr. Mime, and Hoopa.
With Delphox in the game now, that means we got a third Fire-type Starter Pokémon, the other two being Charizard and Cinderace, and we got another Gen 6 Starter Pokémon, the other being Greninja, if ever we get Chesnaught, that would complete the Gen 6 Starter Pokémon set, and if Chesnaught was added, it would be a Defender. Delphox does have some disadvantages, while it is a powerful ranged attacker, it is not good at taking hits, it has a hard time in the early game, it isn't until it is fully evolved where it starts doing well in battle.
Going over Catch 'Em Battles, you can take control of wild Pokémon you can catch, like Tauros, Ludicolo, Araquanid, Electrode, Drednaw, Avalugg, Zapdos, Articuno, and Regigigas, and some of them have special effects, for example, Articuno's Ice Beam, Zapdos's Zap Cannon, and Regigigas's Hyper Beam can leave Goal Zones defenseless.
