Here is the Zoroark gameplay that I have waited to show, and at the time I recorded this video, there was a special weekend event where all Pokémon can be used even if you don't have the Unite License for the Pokémon, and with Unite Licenses becoming more expensive, I decided to use that event to show gameplay of Zoroark.
Zoroark is a Speedster, the second one this year, the first was Dodrio, which was the first Speedster included since the game's launch, and it is the first Generation 5 Pokémon to be included into Pokémon UNITE, as Crustle was in the game since launch.
Zoroark starts off matches as Zorua, and it has an interesting Ability, its Illusion allows it to take the form of a wild Pokémon, so you can take the form of Baltoy, Altaria, Indeedee, and any other Pokémon, even objective Pokémon like Regieleki or Rayquaza, or you can take the form of opposing Pokémon, and Zoroark reverts back to its original form when it uses an attack or takes damage.
Its starting moves in the Zorua stage are identical, it has Slash and Fury Swipes, both are dash attacks that deal damage, Fury Swipes can be used again if it hits an opposing Pokémon, making it more ideal to take the Central Area as Zorua, its basic attack deals boosted damage every three attacks.
At Level 5, Zorua will evolve into Zoroark, and it can learn Night Slash or Feint Attack, they replace Fury Swipes. Night Slash changes Zoroark's normal movement to dash attacks, and if it hits an opposing Pokémon up to six times with the dash attack or basic attacks, Zoroark jumps into the air and and when it lands, it deals damage to opposing Pokémon in effect, and if it hits, Zoroark recovers HP and can use its other move to move a set distance. Feint Attack is a dash attack that deals damage to opposing Pokémon and reduces all of Zoroark's move cooldowns, and if it hits an opposing Pokémon, the location where the move started will be marked, and when used again, it returns to the marked location, leaving a new mark from that dash, and when it hits an opposing Pokémon four times, it uses a charged version of the move where it leaps at the opposing Pokémon and deals damage to them before landing.
At Level 7, Zoroark learns Shadow Claw or Cut, they replace Slash, Shadow Claw is a dash attack that deals damage to opposing Pokémon and leaves them unable to act for a short time, and if it hits an opposing Pokémon at the end point of a dash, it throws the opposing Pokémon instead. Cut deals damage, and it restores Zoroark's HP when it hits.
Zoroark's Unite Move is Nightfall Daze, which it learns at Level 9, it creates shockwaves that deal damage to opposing Pokémon, and each shockwave has an increasing larger area of effect, and Zoroark is immune to hindrances while releasing shockwaves.
At Level 11, Night Slash or Feint Attack are upgraded, and both have reduced cooldown, and at Level 13, Shadow Claw or Cut are upgraded, Shadow Claw increases the length of time the opposing Pokémon is thrown, and Cut increases the amount of HP Zoroark recovers.
Zoroark is all about dash attacks, and it can deal a lot of damage with its combo moves like Night Slash or Feint Attack, the downside is it doesn't have that good defenses as it is a Speedster, and it is reliant on combos to even deal massive damage. For held items, Zoroark can work with Scope Lens and Razor Claw for critical hit damage, the Razor Claw slows down opposing Pokémon, Muscle Band to pair well with its combo moves, and for the Battle Item, Zoroark can make use of items like Slow Smoke, Eject Button, Full Heal, and X Speed.
Zoroark's best moveset is Night Slash and Shadow Claw, while Shadow Claw leaves opposing Pokémon stunned for a short time, that can allow it to combo the Pokémon with Night Slash, Feint Attack and Cut are an alternative, as Feint Attack has a longer range than Night Slash, and Cut heals Zoroark whenever it deals damage with that move.
