Poorly Translated Room & Enemy Randomizer Playthrough Part 1 - What is This? Why is This?
1,035The start of a playthrough of Room Randomizer (timestamps below) with Junk Pit item randomization by homothety, Enemy Randomizer by Kerr and updated by Fireball248, and the Poorly Translated Mod by Gradow, Sid, and Avenging Angle. This randomized most enemies and room connections, randomizes all items, and translates the text into Engrish.
While Enemy Randomizer was updated to fix some broken events there are still sections where no clip will be required. The first part of Soul Master is still broken requiring to go down to phase 2 in order to complete the fight. Parts of the Path of Pain will also require it - basically any section requiring Wingsmould pogoing simply as RNG will likely not cooperate. But I will avoid such insofar as it is possible.
Surprisingly, this turns out to be a pretty lucky seed (haven't found any rancid eggs yet). Mantis Claw and Mothwing Cloak are obtained pretty early and easily. Even after two hours I wasn't at a point where I felt I needed to stop and make a map (although I am noting it for next episode). I make some dumb mistakes with Pale Lurker (taking several minutes then dying) and mess up the Queen's Station platforming more than I'd expect. But this is off to a good start and it may be a shorter and easier run than last time.
On a final note, it was originally my intention to provide commentary for this run. However, there's a few issues I'm working out with doing so. My desk is by the window of a semi-busy street and the walls in any room don't really block sound so no amount of editing will remove the occasional honking car. I also don't feel that I could provide enjoyable commentary on a first go. So, in the interests of getting that practice, I will likely put up some voiced short videos soon (possibly some guides that I've been wanting to do for ages) and possibly do some streaming to practice commentary.

If you're wanting to try this, you will need a few mods installed through the mod installer. Room Randomizer is Randomizer 3 on the modinstaller. SeanPr Core must also be installed for this randomizer to work. You also need BenchWarp for soft locks. Enemy Randomizer is also on the modinstaller but can cause problems with games, so be aware it can cause locks requiring no clipping. The Translation Mod is currently not available on the modinstaller.
