The cake is indeed a lie!

Hello! So, this video is all about Portal: Still Alive and why it is one of the greatest games ever made. Portal has become one of the most beloved game franchises out there, and that all started when it was first released with The Orange Box in 2007. It was this unique and interesting puzzle game that was mixed in there with a shooter like Half-Life 2, and a big multiplayer game like Team Fortress 2, and it was able to stand out and by many was considered the best of the bunch. And since then, the legacy has only grown. With the addition of Portal 2 a few years later, this has turned into a super successful series of games, which is impressive because it is only two games. And the distinction between being a great game, and being a great puzzle game is a big one, but both are accurate to describe this one. It works purely as a mind-bending and entertaining puzzle game in its own right, but then it had the creativity of trying something a little outside the box. It was that element that took it beyond being just a puzzle game, that in my opinion, elevated it into becoming one of the single most important games ever, and one that continues to stay relevant all these years later because of that. It's always a delight to go back to it over the years, and I'm sure as the years go by, and the 20th anniversary comes around in 2027, the legacy of it will only get bigger, and hopefully, by then we might just be able to say that the franchise is a trilogy and not just a duo. And give us Left 4 Dead 3 Valve!
