Prodeus - Eternal(ly) Doom(ed)
2Its red, gore drenched and metal, my kind of FPS game. Seeing this game finally with a full version ever since it was announced in 2019 much like Wrath Aeon of Ruin, but unlike that.. shriveling letdown, Prodeus? Its the real deal. Something that approaches among the better of the new fps games.
Prodeus goes back to April 2019 crowd funding with it getting a early access release in 2020, and a full release in September 2022 for PC/Xbox/PlayStation. Prodeus' story involves us, a corrupted soldier of Prodeus, the creator of the world and us, We have to destroy it by any means possible and anything in our way. Prodeus is a traditional FPS with us having a pistol, melee attack and other weapons we find or purchase with currency named Ore Fragments. Andrew Hulshults music gives Prodeus its hardcore energy too
In a way, Prodeus feels like a true doom clone with its enemy roster of zombies, shotgun grunts, imp like creatures, floating hellspawn and devilish traps, Sprinting is by holding down on the stick which was hard on my thumb tbh, mapping will take you around various sites and facilities, even a special credits map that has one of the most CHAOTIC battles in this game, and its final boss? You have to see it to believe it, and Prodeus is a very easy Platinum.
