Well I added a main menu, sort of. It only lets you load levels, and there are only 2 levels, so there's not a lot to explore here.

Also, I added a map to the project that I made for Halo CE waaaaaaay back in the day when the modding tools were first released. It actually looks kind of alright after slapping some Megascan materials on the canyon walls. Aside from the walls and the ground, everything else in the level is running the original CE textures, running in a material I made that kinda-sorta brings them up to PBR standards.

I also added a 3rd person mesh (used for 3rd person as well as 1st person for the lower body/legs), and built a set of locomotion animations. Mostly because I wanted footstep sounds, and I figured having actual footsteps was the best way to facilitate that. I synced the first person weapon bobbing with the players actual gait, which makes it a little faster and I'm not sure if that's an improvement or not, but its more "realistic".

And since there are now footsteps, I added footstep impact effects. Feet kick up dust, splash in water, all that fun stuff. Falls also produce impact effects, and larger falls play larger effects.

Does anyone read these descriptions? I should probably just do voice over instead. Let me know what you think!
