Project Blam - Rocket launcher animation set for Halo on Unreal Fan Project
97Another week, another weapon for Project Blam. Been posting bits and pieces, but the SPNKr's finally come together. I was going to post a video like the one before with a time lapse of the animation itself but that video didn't seem to get a whole lot of traction. I still want to post it, but it's going to take a little bit of time to cut it all together and I figured at least everyone likes to see the end result anyway, so here we are.
Also, I partnered up with Super Saen over at @SaenGaems ! He's graciously provided the project with a github repository, and he's even sorted out some of my more overtly shameful UI/widget hackery, as well as updated the radar system.
Credits:
the BR model and material are from Vuthakral on Sketchfab (https://sketchfab.com/Vuthakral) but I did slightly modify the texture by adding the text to the side of the body that was on the Halo2 BR.
The SPNKr model is from Halo2 Anniversary (multiplayer)
The needler and plasma pistol model and materials are borrowed directly from Halo 5.
The Sniper is borrowed from Halo 4.
The Master Chief model and material are by the one and only Marcus Lehto
The Halo ring model and material in the background are by Aegis_Wolf on Sketchfab (https://sketchfab.com/Aegis_Wolf)
Most of the sounds are from Halo CE or Halo 2.
All the animations and weapon programming are by me. the UI elements are made by me, but obviously inspired directly from the source material.
