Added the SMG this week, seemed like it would be fun to do. I used the Halo3 inspired SMG model by Vuthkral (https://sketchfab.com/Vuthakral) because it was A) awesome and B) easily accessible. Keeping in line with the other animations, I tried to make this one as technically correct as it probably could, so they run a little longer than the base game stuff. Turned out alright though I think!

Also experimenting with rendering out the video in UHD with a much higher bitrate, because apparently that's the secret sauce to making youtube not completely gutter the quality in regular HD. The 4k version of this video is not sourced from 4k, so it probably won't look much better than the regular HD version... but hopefully that version should look better than it otherwise would have.

Credits:

the BR and SMG models/materials are from Vuthakral on Sketchfab (https://sketchfab.com/Vuthakral) but I did slightly modify the BR texture by adding the text to the side of the body that was on the Halo2 BR.

The SPNKr model is from Halo2 Anniversary (multiplayer)

The needler and plasma pistol model and materials are borrowed directly from Halo 5.

The Sniper is borrowed from Halo 4.

The Master Chief model and material are by the one and only Marcus Lehto

The Halo ring model and material in the background are by Aegis_Wolf on Sketchfab (https://sketchfab.com/Aegis_Wolf)

Most of the sounds are from Halo CE or Halo 2.

All the animations and weapon programming are by me. the UI elements are made by me, but obviously inspired directly from the source material.
