Project Zomboid (14.11.2023) Tutorials and one Solo (First time gaming)
First time gaming this game "Project Zomboid". For now, I mostly choosed Tutorial mode. Had some mayor problems to equipt the knife, once I had got the rifle in my hands. Very frustrating. Not sure what I did wrong. Or if the knife I had, somehow were a butterknife, or not good enough to use as a weapon?!?
The game are still at eartly stage, so both me and other players, should not complain that much. But have to tell how I experience the game, as it is right now. Plus, I'm a beginner to this game. So might figure out later on, why I could not equipt the knife. But yeah... If the knife were broken, or perhaps not good enough to be used as weapon, some text info should be popped up...Right?
Anyway... that is a puzzle for me at this moment.
But once I get this ennoying nut cracked, I'm going to be one mean Zombie killer :-)
Game seems to pretty advanced in the game mechanics. And the quick look at the game for a first time, makes me guess there could be a lot of posibilities awaiting. Game graphics are simple, and gives you flashback to eg. C-64 or Amiga times. But that is okay if you like those kind of games. Or indie games. Whatever label we put on the game, it's a fact, that it has a lot of potentials. And also atmosphere. I almosted stepped a heartbeat, when the hordes of zombies came at me. Or suddenly were close to me in the bushes.
In the Tutorial, in the end, there was a popup window about the joke to take a pill, that wouldn't go away. That have to be reported I guess.

And when playing the real game (Solo), I were not able to save the game, when I started to feel tired. That could either be because I don't know how. Or the game doesn't support saving. Programmers would perhaps avoid saving, in order to make each try something special. And your choices in the game more important (when not able to load to an earlier episode, when things were more quiet and calm in the game)
Not 100% sure. But if I could save, then wouldn't it be in the menu, once I presed ESC?
