For those who trapped in the "Matrix" of accuracy **\*BS\*** in PC emulation, I guess this video could have been the RED pill for them. For anyone who wished the retro gaming GUNs of Heavy Gear (1997) in today's modern machines, Version 1.2 Direct3D offers the BEST visuals with further clip distance and texture quality. This isn't quite a perfect restoration yet, but in pristine condition with only the official 1.2 patch applied. No fans' mods or No-CD cracks required. ActiveMovie playback stutters sometimes and the flaky mouse cursor in the game shell can somewhat makes Gears customization difficult. Nevertheless, in-game play should be fine. Frame rate isn't always in the desired locked 30fps, but this also isn't a game of Quake or Unreal. An average of 15 fps is somewhat playable. One thing for sure, the CD music played great, the texture improvements are pleasing over whatever "Trash"Box or "JUNK_PC"em with whatever Voodoos emulation that "blur". And, this is all achievable with the now 5-year old Ryzen 2500U thin & light ultrabook, although this Game isn't quite optimized to play on compact laptops which lack the keypad.

The project qemu-3dfx strives to deliver the BEST and HIGHEST quality retro gaming experience with modern CPU virtualization and true GPU acceleration without the **\*BS\** of accuracy. Only the FOOLS who made excuses of low-level vs high-level emulation (LLE vs HLE) or the authentic 2x2 box filter for Voodoos would hold on to the foolish ideals of NO CPU virtualization and NO GPU acceleration. And, thanks to the LLE **\*BS\*** , great CD music isn't important. When audio/music cracks & cripples, just blame it on the CPUs. If these aren't JOKES, what else.

Thanks for those who supported and donated to qemu-3dfx and Game Preservation. Heavy Gear (1997) remains imperfect but playable for "real". Hope the game will get its sponsor in the future to iron out the imperfection.
