Rejoice for yet another PC horror adventure masterpiece restored to perfection in "pristine condition". This is the USA release 3-CD retailed version of Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare (2001). Absolutely ZERO tricks, NO patch, NO fans' mods or unknown 3rd-party launcher or random downloads from Dropbox or Mediafire. Just rip the CDs, Install and Play in 15 mins! The PC version is indisputably the BEST version of the Game.

This is a difficult & hard to get working Game on modern systems as evidence by PC Game Wiki headlines and numerous complains despite having the treatments from GOG/Steam which supposed to make it compatible with modern systems.

The performance & frame rate would even put real Retro PC Win98/XP PC boxes to shame compared to the 2018 AMD Ryzen 2500U 15W TDP on thin & light laptops, the freedom to play "anywhere & anytime" and playability across Windows 10/11, Apple Silicon macOS and modern Linux. One last nail to the coffin, the Game engine runs on OpenGL 1.2 which is out of reach from "whatever Voodoo" "the other camp" can emulate at best. It DOES seem like eternity for "the other camp" to be able to emulate Geforce/Radeon class graphics on the turn of Millennia.
