QEMU REAL Games Benchmarks Showdown over 90's PC Emulation \*BS\*
Another year-in-review benchmarks showdown to Bust the Myths of 90's PC emulation TRASH that promises NO CPU virtualization (It's BAD for games compatibility) and NO GPU acceleration (A VOODOO must render like a VOODOO instead of modern GPUs).
The battle cries for "Advanced GPU emulation" in the name of ATI RAGE 128/Pro.

So no more 3DMarks for this round, but the VIDEO turned to REAL Games Benchmarks for the showdown!
- Yeti Studio Gun Metal Benchmark
- Final Fantasy Xi Official Benchmark 2
- Final Fantasy Xi Official Benchmark 3
The VIDEO demonstrated high resolution near-2K gameplay for Retro Gaming in native resolution (Gun Metal) and up-stretched (FFXiBench 2 & 3) rendering. Linux KVM is always preferred in benchmarks showdown since it is the most matured and high performance virtualization for QEMU Virtual Machines. It set a point of time in history for the performance reference when "the other camp" eventually pull out something more capable than Voodoo 3/Banshee at DirectX Direct3D features level 8 & 9 to be able to run the same benchmarks. We will see when ATI RAGE 128/Pro can make it or NEVER. Frankly, the results from QEMU featuring qemu-3dfx weren't spectacular. The benchmark figures could have been better without real-time video recording or on high performance desktop--class CPU coupled with beefy hot-air blower dGPU. Nevertheless, using the lowest rank Intel iGPU guarantees that anyone with anything BETTER will have better results for those with the concerns on how QEMU featuring qemu-3dfx would work out on their modern systems.
GOOD LUCK and expect LOTS of PATIENCE for ATI RAGE 128/Pro emulation!
