This monitor was going to be trashed, and if it were a generic one then that's probably the best place for it. But as it's a monitor for the Atari ST, there's got to be some value ... not monetary, but preservation/re-use ... pairing it with an ST at some stage.

It's classed as a high resolution (640x400) monitor and, I guess, something that would be used with GEM and desktop publishing "back in the day" (1986 in this monitor's case).

It came with the power plug cut-off which is a good indication that the monitor was faulty. Replacing the plug confirmed - the red power LED does glow (so some LV is being generated at least?), but otherwise the screen remains dead.

I've obtained the service manual (P/N C026408) quite nicely detailed about how it works and step-by-step troubleshooting.
