Quick Play - Tom and Jerry [SNES]
Tom and Jerry is a platformer developed by Beam Software and published in 1993 by Hi-Tec Expressions for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. In the game, players control Jerry (and Nibbles in two-player mode) as they navigate stages, fight enemies, and defeat Tom. The game has multiple "worlds" divided into three stages: two levels and a boss fight. The worlds are themed after different areas of town, such as the dump, or a movie theater. Graphically the game is very good, with bright colors and excellent animation. The music is also fairly good, though not necessarily the best the SNES can produce. The gameplay is solid, though platforming can be a bit difficult with a short jump and hard to read platforms at times. Overall it's a solid game, though the lack of a save system combined with it's sometimes difficult platforming can be a strong barrier for players.
