Shadow Squadron is an arcade space-flight sim developed and published by Sega for the Sega 32X in 1995. In the game, players are tasked with defeating an enemy space fleet who plans to destroy your home base (wikipedia). Combat takes place across six levels, and players can choose fighter A, which allows the player to free roam the battlefield, or fighter B, which turns the game into a more traditional on rails shooter. The gameplay is great, and very smooth. The music is quite good, and overall it's an excellent, if maybe short game. This is definitely worth a play if you have a 32X.
