Let's take a look at how the flash hider and compensator stack up against each other when put head to head in Rainbow Six Siege. Which one is better? Let's find out!

In my tests I noticed that both attachments have their benefits - but to put things simply, I think that the flash hider is more versatile than the compensator.

This is because full auto fire is not entirely common. Regardless of what attachment you choose, you have to deal with significant full auto recoil. This makes the benefit of the compensator fairly moot. I don't feel like it makes the full auto recoil good enough to make it worth using over the flash hider, which in comparison will net you a tighter spread on your burst firing.
